Syntheo Holding B.V. is the umbrella organisation under which Finescon and Koning Belastingadviseurs operate. The holding was founded with a single goal: to give entrepreneurs across the Netherlands access to specialised financial knowledge — without having to consult multiple firms.

Both firms run complete administrations for their clients: from daily bookkeeping and VAT returns to payslips and annual accounts. In addition, the group holds deep fiscal expertise — from income tax and corporate tax to estate planning and appeal procedures. Together Finescon and Koning offer seamless, complete financial services.

1996

Raat founded — Finescon's predecessor

The story of Finescon begins with Raat, an accounting firm in Lelystad that opens its doors in 1996. Raat serves local entrepreneurs with bookkeeping and tax filings, laying the foundation for what will later become Finescon. A seed planted nearly thirty years ago.

Turid van den Berg joins — the foundation of Finescon

In 2001 Turid van den Berg joins Raat. Her arrival marks the beginning of the firm we know today: a renewed approach, growing client base and an office that develops into a full financial partner for SMEs, freelancers and company directors across the Netherlands.

2011

Koning Belastingadviseurs founded

Koning Belastingadviseurs opens its doors as an independent firm running full administrations alongside deep fiscal expertise in income tax, corporate tax and estate planning — quickly becoming a trusted name for business owners.

1 January 2026

Syntheo acquires Koning Belastingadviseurs — Anton appointed Manager

On 1 January 2026, Syntheo Holding B.V. acquires Koning Belastingadviseurs. Simultaneously, Anton Krone is appointed as Administrative Manager — taking over day-to-day management of the practice so Bernard Koning can focus entirely on fiscal advisory.

Syntheo acquires Finescon — the circle is complete

With the acquisition of Finescon by Syntheo Holding B.V. in April 2026, the group is fully complete. Clients of both Finescon and Koning Belastingadviseurs now benefit from one seamless team — for bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns and strategic fiscal advice.
